Welcome to Lawton’s 10th Annual Freedom Festival, a remarkable two-day celebration marking our nation's independence! This exceptional event, which is free to attend, offers an extensive lineup of family-friendly activities, games, vendors, and entertainment options suitable for all ages. Don't miss the chance to witness one of the largest fireworks displays in Southwest Oklahoma!

For your convenience and enjoyment, this year's festival will provide various amenities such as a dedicated children’s area, convenient ATM access, nearby parking facilities, fully accessible restroom accommodations, and much more!

The City of Lawton, Lawton Enhancement Trust Authority, and the Freedom Festival Committee are thrilled to introduce a brand-new element to the festivities: an awe-inspiring drone show which will take place the evening of the first day of the festival, Friday, June 28th, at 9:30PM. On day two of the festival, – the main fireworks display will take place, Saturday, June 29th, at 9:30 PM. The breathtaking drone and fireworks displays are just a glimpse of the excitement that awaits you at this year's Freedom Festival.

Thanks to the generous support of Fort Sill’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), we are delighted to present the Bounce House Park, featuring approximately 20 bounce houses. For $5 per person, you can enjoy unlimited bouncing fun all day long!

And back by popular demand, the Derby Car Races return for a second year, generously supported by Classic Lawton Chevrolet and Comanche Home Center. Get ready for an expanded division open to local businesses and adults, alongside the thrilling children's races.

Feeling hungry? The Hotdog Eating Contest is also making its return, sponsored by Bar S.

The Lawton Fort Sill Freedom Festival is held rain or shine. No personal fireworks, alcohol, or animals (except service animals) are allowed on the festival grounds.
