On August 3rd, join us at McMahon Memorial Auditorium to celebrate The City of Lawton’s Birthday!

The event will begin with a reception in the lobby held at 5:30PM where light refreshments will be served, a cake cutting celebration will occur, and representatives of Lawton’s history will be stationed to interact and share detailed information and stories about the history of Lawton-Fort Sill.

Commencing At 6:00PM in the auditorium will be an all-new historical presentation featuring the musical talents of the Stringsmen and local performers about the history of Lawton-Fort Sill orchestrated by The City of Lawton Arts and Humanities Division. Historical organizations and entities such as the Comanche Nation, Buffalo Soldiers, Pioneer Women, and Lawton Rangers.
