The McMahon Auditorium Authority, in collaboration with the City of Lawton Arts and Humanities Division, is proud to announce the upcoming Carnegie Library Arts Classes starting the third and fourth week of January 2025. This series of art courses will offer the community an exceptional opportunity to learn from renowned local artists such as Kathy Liontas-Warren and Mathew Hughes and more!

Enrollment opens this Friday, November 15, and will close the day before the first day of class in January. Space is limited to 12 students per course, so early registration is encouraged. The fee for each six-week course is $50.00, and participants are welcome to enroll in multiple courses. All courses are designed for skill building and will start with introductory-level material to ensure accessibility for all skill levels.

Classes will be held once a week for an hour and a half over a six-week period. Topics include Graphite, Watercolor, Charcoal, and other specialized art techniques. While most courses are geared toward adults and high school students, middle-school students may also be considered for select classes.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity! For more information and to enroll, CLICK HERE or contact the Arts and Humanities Division at (580) 581-3470, or email us at arts@lawtonok.gov.
